"what the?!(regular series) Issue #22"

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

More Vigilante Hi-jinx of the early 90’s. And don’t think it’s just Marvel, DC almost killed Batman with their attempts to be more like Charles Bronson too. Thankfully, the Bat got broken by Bane and it saved the Caped Crusader.

Plastic Man: Rubber Bandits

WORTH CONSUMING!

Whimsical stories with a flair of Ren and Stimpy. Not just the art but some of the bawdy humor which causes a problem for parents.

The art looks like it’s suitable for the 5-12 set, but the humor, “sex” appeal, and some of the references about race make this a more mature title.

Still, it’s funny, relevant, and about time someone got on Plastic Man about his ridiculous costume. It is the worst super hero costume of probably all-time

"Fantastic Four, Vol. 2, Nos. 21-40 (Marvel Essentials)"

WORTH CONSUMING!

Fantastic Four is great. Only problem is… I HATE, I HATE, I HATE Jack Kirby’s collages! They are enough to make me sick, they look silly, and they are faker looking than a Judge Dredd cartoon.

Worth Consuming none the less.

"what the?!(regular series) Issue #21"

I only remember the Weapon X story and it was amusing at best. I got kinda burned out with X-Men about a year ago, and I’m having oversaturation of mutants at this point.

The other contents of this issue are totally forgettable- as I don’t remember what occurs in those tales.

"what the?!(regular series) Issue #20"

WORTH CONSUMING!

The best issue in the series by far!!!!! Milk and Cookies, Spider-Ham, Wolverina, and Forbush Man have 4 separate “issues” that result in a crossover parody of the Infinity Wars.

The concept really works. In fact, I fell Marvel missed a golden op. to not bring these 4 groups together into their own series. It would have been a classic, and I know I would be searching for those issues to add to my collection. Hey- Joe Q- it’s not too late!

"what the?!(regular series) Issue #19"

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Another reason why Marvel 1992 almost 100% sucked. Also, the DC jokes are wearing thin.

"The Marvel Comics Guide to New York City"

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is a really cool travel guide in which the real and not so real settings in many, many, many Marvel Comics stories are highlighted. I would love to spend a day of doing the Spider-Man walking tour of all the real places featured in his various titles. Sure, I’ll have to take a walking tour of famous playwright’s houses as a make up for my wife- but it’ll be worth it.

A gift from my kids for my 30th B-Day. Worth Consuming and great job guys.

"what the?!(regular series) Issue #18"

WORTH CONSUMING!

A great Forbush- Star Trek Parody, A Terrific Spider-Ham story…gosh he was great fun, and a worn out parody of Homer Simpson as Doc Sampson.

Only 8 stars, but worth consuming!!
