This is like Alias, with mutants and only if my wife would let me watch the show. Great story line about on of my favorite x-men characters.

My only problem with the book: When did Professor X start walking or can he only walk when he is an ESP image?

Still with this question unanswered, run, don’t walk to get this book.

"The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists: A Novel"

WORTH CONSUMING! A very funny book. It’s like a Terry Prachett novel set in Victorian England. Don’t expect any continuity with historical facts (although many of his footnotes are of historical truth). Very surreal and great word play. Classic example of British comedy writing.

Jimmy Olsen: Adventures by Jack Kirby - Volume 2

WORTH CONSUMING!

Much better than Vol. One. I think Kirby found his niche in this one. No stomach turning collages, little of Flippa Dippa to be seen or heard. It is a shame there’s never gonna be a volume 3.

A Series of Unfortunate Events, Book 2: The Reptile Room (MISSING)

I've just realized, seven years after the fact, that though I read A Series of Unfortunate Events, Book 2: The Reptile Room, I never wrote a review for this in my original reading journal. I actually don't remember much about this book, so I won't try to review a book that I read almost a decade ago. However, I do make an annotation here in order to keep track of my oversight for my records.

"The Wide Window (A Series of Unfortunate Events #3)"

Not as good as book 2, but still interesting. I have to agree with some of the consumers who have read this book, the definitions is beginning to get old and stale. Is this why Lemony Snicket never shows his face, because he knows that his loyal readers would lay the smack down? Still, I must know why happens next to Violet, Klaus, and Sunny.

" The Complete Dennis the Menace 1951-1952"

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Man, was this kid a brat. He was a very disrespectful little dude. And I am surprised at how many activities his parents take him with them. I thought it the 1950’s it was common to leave the kid at home when the folks wanted to go to a fancy restaurant. Maybe it was and Dennis The Menace broke that taboo. If so, you have him to thank for ruined dinners and movies.

"Batman / Tarzan: Claws of the Cat-Woman"

An odd pairing of the Dark Knight and the Lord of the Jungle. Set in the 1920-40’s era as Tarzan was. A quick read. Fun and original. It was a breath of fresh. Except for the main villain, he was a typical Depression era gangster/poacher. A better baddie could have made this book a 5 star venture.
