The period of 1988-1994 in the world
of Marvel Comics was gritty vigilante. I hated it. It almost put my entirely
off comics. Thankfully, had my collection not been stolen and I decided to go
into baseball cards- I think the speculation of comics would have sent me over
the edge, and I would be rating Topps Turkey Red 2007 right.
Thankfully, the 2000’s came with
Ultimate Universe and Marvel Adventures and that whole period changed.
So if you want to relive the hayday
of every issue guest starring Wolverine or Punisher- have at it.
For me- Make Mine NOT WORTH CONSUMING!!
