Silverblade #9

Silverblade (1987-1988) #9
Who puts price stickers on comic books???

At long last, the Silverblade film is complete. Monsters, ghosts, assassins, and serial killers dressed as redneck ducks have done everything in their power to prevent this remake from getting made. But the time for the debut is finally here. But it couldn't come at a worse time as Jonathan Lord's spirit guide, the Falcon has been obliterated by the Executioner!

Now Jonathan, Blackfeather, and the rest of the Falcon's allies are vulnerable...

This was a great issue. The origin of the Falcon, Silverblade and Blackfeather is finally revealed and many of the most confusing parts of this maxi-series become clear- like pieces of a puzzle finally giving the observer a clear look at what image they are constructing.

But this issue is full of surprises. If you think the destruction of the Falcon spirit was a shock, wait until the final panel. You will not believe it- but what happens is real- not a hoax- not imaginary!

XXXXXXXXXX is dead!
