"Star Trek #19 (DC Comics 1986-1989, 1st Series)"

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I know this series was first published 22 years ago, but I really think for anyone who reads this series should read the letters section. Called “Hailing Frequencies Open”, the section is not just letters, but updates on upcoming stories and events that have taken placed at conventions.

In an earlier issue, it’s mentioned that at ComicCon, one person asked why there isn’t more stories about Chekov. The person who asked that was Walter Koenig. This issue is the result of that event.

While the story itself was lame, I would’ve hated it more had I not read about this in a previous issue.
