"Star Trek #5 (DC Comics 1986-1989, 1st Series)"

If memory serves me correct, DC artists refer to the theme on the cover as the “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” motif. It’s been done to death on numerous covers, especially Justice League titles.

 Like the covers, the whole violation of the Prime Directive storylines been done to death too. It started with “A piece of the Action”, and then there’s the Nazi episode, the Marvel series focused on it at least twice, and Lord knows that Jim Kirk could care less about it. And at times, that’s how I felt about it. The ending was sweet and it’s saving grace from a totally bad review-
