Are you reading any of these? Well, if you are, then enjoy them while you can. DC announced today that 15 ongoing titles will not be seeing the light of day after March of next year. Along with these titles, three weeklies are going the way of the dinosaur: Batman: Eternal, The New 52: Futures' End, and Earth 2: World's End. Eternal though isn't totally gone as a second volume is rumored to be in the mix.
One completely new title is Convergence. It will involve the cross-title storyline that involves Darkseid making a play for the multiverse. This new title will coincide with the end of Grant Morrison's collection of one-shots titled: Multiversity.
Obviously, money has something to do with it. Klarion started just 3 months ago. Some books such as the Aquaman, Forever People, and the GI Zombie titles haven't even had a 1-year anniversary yet. I seriously doubt this is another DC Implosion, when in the late 70s DC had to cancel dozens of titles of face bankruptcy. Knowing DC, their philosophy has been if it's broke, try another title to in order to fix it. So it's more than likely that 15 replacement titles are in the works.
True, these 15 titles will be gone shortly. But, in true modern comics fashion you can be sure most of these titles or your favorite characters won't be gone for very long.
