DC announced today that in March, 2015, that they will be issuing a series of variant covers based on classic movie cover. For those who love variant covers and those who are movie fanatics, this March has got everything going for it but the popcorn. Amongst the films being contributed will be 'The Wizard of Oz', 'North by Northwest', '2001: A Space Odyssey', and 'The Mask.'

Batman & Superman #20 and their take on the Fugitive.

    Unfortunately, the one thing not being recreated are actually comic book movie covers. How awesome would it be to see Christopher Reeve appearing on the front of Action Comics or Mike Allred's take on  the 1960s Batman Movie for the cover of Batman '66? Maybe that's a variant cover for another day.
