In the gang war building in Gotham City, the edge has been going to Tobias Whale. That all changes when a renegade crime lord from Whale's days in Metropolis and Intergang makes moves in the city. Only this new player by the name of Johnny Stitches doesn't care who wins or who's on his side as long as he gets to kill the Whale.
From the origin of how Johnny got his new moniker, I can empathize. Well, that is until I saw how bat crap crazy this guy is. The Joker might try to leave you in stitches while he commits his heinous crimes, but there's nothing funny to the surgical procession of Johnny Stitches' bloodbaths.
After a rough patch in the previous issue, the excitement and thrills return. Though I must admit, I was actually grossed out by a couple of scenes in this issue. But it's some of the best and gritty storytelling I've read in a while. Wow!
