House of Mystery, Volume 2: Love Stories for Dead People (Originally read 5/31/13)

Don't wait too long after reading volume 1 to read volume 2. I made that mistake and got horribly lost, just like the characters do in this book. As they try to escape the House of Mystery, we learn why it became a speakeasy, as well as get a glimpse at Cain and Abel's involvement with the HOM after their appearant lose of lease. The art's very good as is the story.
There's so very tragic creatures in this volume that will break your heart. They balance out with one very truly frightening father-figure.
Again, the main problem is why so many mysteries surrounding all these great characters, if you wait too long for the following volume it gets hard to follow. Reader, Beware!

Worth Consuming. Rating 8 out of 10 stars.
