It took the final issue of this mini-series for it to
finally resemble the winning formula of Gotham Nights. The series focuses more
on the citizens of Gotham and Batman is more of a footnote. There’s tragedy and
there’s victory abounding in this chapter. And, unlike their first storyline,
this one doesn’t end on a sappy high note. It’s very fitting- It just took a
total of 2 mini-series and eight issues to finally happen.
