There’s a reason why DC does books
about timeline crises and Marvel does books about wars amongst super heroes and
villains. It’s their niche and they do it so well. This is what happens when
the opposing company (in this case DC) tries to do what the other guy does
best, finds out it’s not working and goes back to doing their niche.
Confusing?
SO is this book, until the switch
happens. DC tries to do a war title and it gets mired into a who’s who of
anyone who happens to still be alive and kicking- and a few ghosts reappear. Then
there’s the crisis- which involves the Big Bang and BOOM!!! it’s gets to be one
of the best written and thought out story’s DC has ever done.
Lesson here is
stick to what your good and maybe you’ll get a full 10 star rating. Till then-
Our Worlds at War is worth consuming and 8 stars tops.
