The Challengers story is the rest to
read this issue alone. Great characters, great art. A real page turner,
although the origin behind the newest member to join the crew is left out, even
though she plays a huge role in the story that takes place as the Origin of the
original 4 Challengers is revealed.
The Fury story is okay. It’s another
attempt to rectify the confusion brought on by the Crisis; only this time the
Wonder Woman character is remade as Fury, a Greek Heroine who fought during
WWII. Good story, I just didn’t like the Roy Thomas explanation as to why she
exists. Also, this makes two issues in a row in which the All-Star Squadron and
Infinity Inc. titles are tied in. The lack of quality convinces me not to read
these titles, if it moves me at all.
Still, the Challengers or the
Unknown make this story worth consuming!
