Great opening act. The Jim Lee art is amazing and gritty.
The storyline between Superman and a priest is touching with a Tom Clancy-ish type plot involving the mysterious Mr. Orr and anytime Qurac is involved you know it’s going to be a great story. I was surprised that with over a million people disappearing from the earth that some kind of reference to Superman being a Christ-figure and to the rapture wasn’t examined. The 4 page design aspect at the end of the book is required as it will give you an even greater appreciation for the amazing art in this volume.
