"Batman: Hush - Volume One"

WORTH CONSUMING!

A much better tale than the Superman: For Tomorrow Series. Loeb is a master at retelling the Batman. And Lee’s art is more suited for Batman. Plus, the array of villains that conspire against Bats is freakin’ cool. However, I have major problems with the Fact that Batman/ Bruce Wayne takes a major fall, gets a bone fragment stuck in his brain, has brain surgery, is photographed with his head all bandaged up and (according to dialogue) is seen in Metropolis with a full head of hair and no scars. Much less the fact, Batman manages to kick major butt without fail. There’s some serious suspension of disbelief here. Still, with great art, and well-structured characters, one can overlook this and enjoy one of the best Batman stories of All Time.
