A book is like the TARDIS. Open it up and it's bigger on the inside. One part reading journal, one part educational tool for pop culture newbies and parents of young geeks. This blog is your portal into the world of movies, TV, superheroes, and of course books!

"The Marvelous Adventures of Gus Beezer with the X-Men #1: X Marks The Mutant (Marvel Comic Book 2003)"
Story (actually there are 2) was
entertaining. Youthful, but I expected that. However, it was some of the worst
art I had ever seen. There were smudges, and you could make out all those
bubbles and lines you see when learning “HOW TO DRAW” superheroes. Who dropped
the ball there? (I’d say Joe Quesada- but something like Gus Beezer is probably
beneath him) The other Beezer story was better drawn, so I really don’t know if
this was intentional, but it was very distracting.
