WORTH CONSUMING!
I try really hard to like the Kirby
work of the 70’s. Thankfully, this volume did not disappoint. The Art didn’t
make me want to gag, the storylines (while were full of corny lines) were
pretty good, and actually was better than some of the drivel being pumped into
Capt. America in the early 70’s. However, I felt that though this book was
titled “The Swine”, the word “swine” was used excessively to the point of
vulgarity- like the SNL Penis sketch.
As a fitting tribute to the end of
Kirby’s era at Marvel. It’s worth consuming!
