"Dave Barry Turns 50" —

WORTH CONSUMING!

This could have been a 5 star book if and only IF Barry had stuck to writing synopsis of the years 1975-1998. Now, he does explain why he stops at 1974, and I understand why. However, Barry is a great BS-er and when it comes to reciting American History, no one can record it with such candor and irony (Except maybe the Daily Show). Don’t get me wrong, the remaining 60-some pages are great, I just wish he had made the book longer and maintain the concept of reviewing each year in the life of a baby-boomer.  I am interested in checking out DB turns 30 and DB turns 40 to see if this book is a revised volume or a separate entity.
