It’s pretty bad
when the bad guy wins. It’s even worse when the bad guys trick you into doing
their dirty work for them. That’s what happens in this issue when Cobra
launches an attack from their underwater base in the Gulf of Mexico. The ruse
is that the battle is designed for the Joes to bomb the hell out of the base
causing a fault line to rupture and produce a new land mass.
That’s right; Cobra Island finally appears in
the comic books for the first time. Now, time runs out as the Joes must secure
the new island before Cobra Island receives recognition from the United States
as a sovereign nation.
The jaw dropping
conclusion will stun you and make you run for the next issue to find out what
happens next.
