With the Shrewmanoid
sent into the void from which Monkeyman escaped, the intelligent simian and his
Amazonian partner, Ann O’Brien now must face the Froglodytes from Outer Space! But
before they kick some amphibian alien butt, they must face the news media! When
Monkeyman’s actions against the Shrewmanoid get turned into a potential lawsuit
for wrongful kidnapping, I knew instantly that this really is the series I feel
in love with in Art Adam’s Creature Features.
The series captures the humor and insanity that I love in
comics such as The Tick and Madman. Those alien Frogs are so stupid it hurts.
Adam’s is not only the writer of this series, he’s also the artist. The art is
beautiful and timeless. Plus, speaking of Madman, the colorist of that
particular series, Laura Allred is whose crafting the marvelous palettes!
