GI Joe #32

G.I. Joe (1982-1994) #32A

I mentioned a gaping plot hole in the last issue that some could say is easily overlooked. However, the Titanic sized hole in this issue’s plot cannot be overlooked as just about every panel and page reflects the problem. See in issue 31, Destro and Firefly has an intense gunfight with Spirit, Airborne, and Snake Eyes on a bright shiny mountaintop with green grass. But from the very first page, the aftermath shows everybody lying in snow!

Now one might say, well from the events of the last issue to this one, it snowed. However, none of the Joes are wearing cold weather gear and none of the characters are covered with snow. So, that theory doesn’t pan out.

The issue itself is pretty good as the mystery of Snake Eye’s origin and just who killed his sensei are addressed further. Plus, like I mention just about every time I review a GI Joe book, there are yet more characters being introduced. This go round, we meet Lady J(aye) and Ripcord- who I might add looks nothing like Shawn Wayans.

A very good issue that was written very well and is full of mystery and suspense, but once again is full of continuity errors- stupid errors that should have been caught way before this book saw print.

Worth Consuming but with serious attention to detail needed.

Rating: 7 out of 10 stars.
